Kathy Suppa is easy to recognize by her beautiful smile and warm, outgoing personality. As a member of our housekeeping team, she helps to keep our hospital clean, safe, and functioning efficiently. Kathy is known for going above and beyond to help make our patients feel at home.
When she was approached about the opportunity to support the employee giving campaign, she jumped at the chance. Kathy supports her local church and national charities for diabetes and breast cancer, and -- with Inspira Foundation Gloucester County -- she sees a special opportunity.
"Supporting Inspira Foundation Gloucester County is important to me because I know that my gift will stay in our community and help people that I know and love. It might even help me one day!" Kathy is modest about her generous gift. "I wanted to give more, but I knew that many of my colleagues would step up as well, and together we would achieve great things."
Kathy was right. Funds from the 2015 employee giving campaign were used to supply every Inspira Mobile Intensive Care Unit with King Vision Scopes. The tool helps our paramedics quickly and safely intubate patients with critical breathing problems and deliver them safely into the expert care of highly trained specialists.
