Story

Paulsboro Refining Company is committed to improving the lives of community members throughout Gloucester County.

Paulsboro Refining Company has been one of Inspira Foundation Gloucester County’s most valued community partners for more than 15 years.

 

Founded in 1917, Paulsboro Refining Company occupies 950 acres in Gloucester County along the Delaware River, and is proud to be one of the counties biggest employers. They are commited to the safety and security of the communities in which they work.

 

In the spring of 2015, Paulsboro Refining Company gave a gift to the Foundation in support of Inspira Health Network's Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU). Through this generous gift, the MICU was able to purchase EZIO equiptment for the entire fleet of MICU vehicles, which cover Cumberland, Salem, and Gloucester counties.

National EMS Memorial Bike Ride

Honoring Fallen Heroes

The National EMS Memorial Bike Ride was organized to honor EMS heroes who lost their lives in the line of duty. This week-long trek covered more than 400 miles, from Boston to Washington, DC.

Community Education

The mission of Inspira Health Network is to improve the wellness of the community we serve. Working with local municipalities, employers, schools, and other organizations, the Community Education staff at Inspira Medical Center Woodbury identifies at-risk members of the community and provides free health screenings, checkups, and education for those in need.

Dr. Bonner has served as Medical Director of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Inspira Medical Center Woodbury since 1998, and in 2015 he was elected president of the hospital’s medical staff. A lifelong resident of Gloucester County, he is a strong supporter of Inspira Foundation Gloucester County.
